Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Campus QA / Tester to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for testing PeopleSoft Campus Solutions applications, validating business processes, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality and reliability of application releases.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and application workflows.
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test scripts for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing.
- Test PeopleSoft Campus Solutions modules and business processes such as:
- Student Administration
- Admissions
- Student Records
- Academic Advisement
- Campus Community
- Student Financials
- Recruiting & Admissions
- Enrollment
- Execute test cases and document test results and evidence.
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar defect-management tools.
- Perform end-to-end testing across integrated systems and third-party applications.
- Validate interfaces, reports, batch processes, and data flows.
- Perform database/data validation using SQL queries.
- Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, Functional Consultants, and business stakeholders for defect resolution.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide inputs from a QA perspective.
- Conduct regression testing for application enhancements, patches, fixes, and upgrades.




- Support UAT activities and production-release validation.
- Prepare QA status reports, defect reports, and test execution summaries.

Required Skills
- 3–6 years of experience in QA/testing with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions functional processes.
- Hands-on experience in test case creation, execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Experience with functional and integration testing.
- Good knowledge of SQL/database validation.
- Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar tools.
- Understanding of SDLC/STLC and defect life cycle.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Good to Have
- Experience in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions implementation, upgrade, or support projects.
- Knowledge of PeopleTools and PeopleSoft architecture.
- Exposure to PeopleSoft integration technologies such as Integration Broker.
- Experience testing PeopleSoft web services/interfaces.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools/frameworks.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions upgrades or patches.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
