We are hiring a "Painting/Coating Inspector"

Qualification: Diploma / ITI / Degree in any discipline.

Experience: 2+years

Salary: 4.0-6.0 LPA (based on the performance)

Location: Sriperumbudur

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and verify daily surface preparation, blasting, painting, and coating activities.
- Ensure proper execution of specialized coating systems including Xylan and phosphate coating.
- Carry out hands-on inspection using DFT gauges, surface profile gauges, dew point meters,holiday detectors, adhesion testers, and other coating inspection equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, customer-specific coating specifications, ITPs, and inspection procedures.
- Monitor and verify the effectiveness of coating repair work and re-inspect coated areas.
- Ensure all coating activities comply with applicable ISO, SSPC, NACE, and AMPP standards.
- Maintain accurate daily inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to clear inspections and resolve shop-floor coating issues.





Candidate Profile

- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in painting/coating inspection.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, fabrication, heavy engineering, or related industries is preferred.
- Certification – Required (Any one):
- NACE Coating Inspector Level 2 (or)
- BGAS-CSWIP Painting Inspector Level 2

Other Requirements:

- Robust working knowledge of surface preparation, blasting, painting, Xylan, and phosphate coating.
- Ability to independently handle coating inspection instruments and interpret test results.
- Good documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
