Roles and Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Oracle databases hosted on Exadata platforms.
- Monitor database availability, performance, capacity, and operational health.
- Perform backup and recovery activities using RMAN and validate recovery readiness.
- Administer Data Guard, RAC, and other high-availability database environments.
- Troubleshoot critical production incidents and provide L2/L3 Oracle DBA support.
- Support database migrations, version upgrades, maintenance activities, and technical change implementation.

Skills Required:

- 8 - 10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle database administration, including Exadata environments.
- Solid expertise in Oracle database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Experience administering high-availability environments using Oracle RAC and Data Guard.
- Practical knowledge of RMAN backup and recovery, database troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Experience providing L2/L3 production support and resolving critical database incidents.

Good to Have:
- Experience with enterprise data platforms and database migration initiatives.

Education: B.Sc. or B.Tech. degree.
