Job Summary:

Leads a team of solution engineers responsible for the development, design, integration, and delivery of business solutions. Establishes and enforces standards for solution architecture, documentation, and delivery excellence. Partners with architects, product managers, and business leaders to ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise goals, scalable across platforms, and optimized for efficiency, performance, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

Leads a team of solution engineers responsible for translating business needs into integrated technical solutions or systems of solutions, analyzing business processes and systems to identify integration and optimization opportunities. Oversees the development of solution or systems of solutions designs that deliver capabilities that enhance process efficiency, scalability, and alignment with enterprise strategies. Facilitates collaboration across business, product, and technical stakeholders to deliver cohesive solution designs.

Establishes governance and review processes to ensure commercial-off-the-shelf and custom-built solutions are analyzed against consistent technical and business criteria. Guides and supervises design documentation quality, ensures compliance with architectural standards, cybersecurity regulations and validates that testing activities confirm solution readiness. Works closely with product managers, architects, and technical leads to ensure delivery timelines, quality and safety standards, and technical dependencies are effectively managed.

Provides direction, guidance, and governance for solution or system implementation. Manages escalations with vendors, negotiates technical resolutions, and ensures all deliverables meet contractual parameters for quality, cost, data privacy, schedule, and security. Establishes review mechanisms and works with architecture, cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure policies are consistently applied across all projects.

Ensures alignment of support processes with service-level objectives. Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation for infrastructure projects. Responsible for financial management including AOP, budget management, and forecasting.

Responsible for people management including work plan development, performance management, and people development. Responsible for team building and development including organization structure, recruiting, global team management. Compile and present management reports on team performance including metrics, deliverable status, etc

- The leader is accountable for the global Oracle EBS CI strategy, roadmap, and delivery model supporting approximately 45 manufacturing plant operations and business teams worldwide that leverage Oracle EBS capabilities to enable and develop plant-specific business processes. The role ensures capabilities are scalable, standardized, secure, and aligned with enterprise platform objectives while balancing both global consistency and local business requirements.

- The position has direct leadership responsibility for a global team, including organizational design, talent management, workforce planning, employee development, succession planning, performance management, and fostering a high-performing and inclusive culture across multiple regions and time zones. The leader is expected to build organizational capability, develop future technical and functional leaders, and drive adoption of the Product and Platform operating model.

- The role carries significant influence across business units, corporate functions, platform teams, product organizations, and external partners. The leader must build alignment among senior stakeholders, influence platform and business strategy decisions, and drive enterprise-wide adoption of standards, processes, and best practices without always having direct authority over all impacted teams.

- The leader is accountable for financial stewardship of the Oracle EBS CI software engineering team partnering with DBA and competency center software engineering leaders, including budget management, resource planning, vendor strategy, investment prioritization,



and identifying opportunities for cost optimization while ensuring business outcomes and operational stability are achieved.

- The role provides strategic leadership for Oracle EBS modernization and innovation initiatives, including the application of AI, automation, self-service capabilities, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, accelerate delivery, and enhance business value across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and corporate functions.

- Additionally, the leader establishes enterprise standards, governance, and reusable capabilities that improve quality, reliability, and scalability across Oracle EBS solutions globally. The role is responsible for driving continuous improvement, reducing technical complexity, improving platform performance, and ensuring alignment with Cummins broader digital transformation initiatives.

- This position requires enterprise-level leadership, strategic thinking, organizational influence, people leadership, financial accountability, and technical/business expertise to ensure Oracle EBS capabilities continue to support Cummins global operations while advancing innovation and transformation objectives.

The leader is accountable for the reliability, availability, security, and performance of the Oracle EBS platform operating on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring critical business processes supporting global manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and corporate functions remain stable and effective. Performance is measured through platform service metrics, operational excellence, successful execution of upgrades and modernization initiatives, reduction of production issues, adherence to security and compliance requirements, and overall customer satisfaction with platform services.

- The role is also responsible for advancing software engineering maturity across the Oracle EBS organization through the adoption of automation, DevOps practices, testing disciplines, reusable solutions, and standardized delivery methodologies.

- Success is measured by improvements in solution quality, reduction in technical debt, increased automation, faster delivery cycles, and the implementation of scalable and sustainable capabilities that improve business outcomes.
