Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for an Online Scratch Coding Tutor. The tutor will conduct live online classes using Scratch, guiding students through coding concepts, interactive projects, and logical thinking exercises.

Day-to-day responsibilities include planning age-appropriate lessons, delivering engaging sessions, providing individual support and feedback, and tracking student progress toward learning objectives.



The tutor will also communicate with caregivers as needed about student performance, maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, and continuously refine teaching methods based on student engagement and outcomes.

Qualifications

- Ability to design and deliver engaging lessons using Scratch or similar visual programming tools, with a focus on project-based learning and creativity.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills in an online setting, including the ability to explain complex ideas in simple, age-appropriate language.
- Experience working with children or teens (ages 5–17), demonstrating patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and encourage diverse learners.
- Comfort with online teaching platforms and digital collaboration tools, including secure internet
