Payment Posting (Oncology , Radiology & Veradigm )

Job Role: Payment Posting Specialist

Process: US Healthcare RCM

Experience: 4-7 yrs

Location : Chennai

Job Responsibilities

- Post insurance and patient payments from EOBs and ERAs.
- Review EOB/ERA and understand payments, denials, adjustments, and patient responsibility.
- Post contractual adjustments, deductibles, copays, and coinsurance correctly.
- Handle unapplied cash, refunds, reversals, and recoupments.
- Identify denials, underpayments, and zero-pay claims and route them to the appropriate team.
- Reconcile payment batches with EFT/check/deposit amounts.
- Maintain high accuracy and productivity in daily payment posting.
- Follow HIPAA and PHI confidentiality requirements.

Oncology Knowledge

- Basic knowledge of chemotherapy, infusion, immunotherapy, J-codes, drug units, and administration codes.
- Understand oncology claim payments, adjustments, and denials.

Radiology Knowledge

- Basic knowledge of X-ray, CT,



MRI, ultrasound, PET, and other imaging services.
- Understand professional component (26), technical component (TC), and global billing.

Required Skills

- Strong exposure to Oncology, Radiology , Veradigm
- Knowledge of US healthcare medical billing/RCM.
- Good understanding of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, CARC/RARC, EOB, and ERA.
- Good Excel and analytical skills.
- Positive communication and attention to detail.
