Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer drawings and requirements.
- Develop recent SS pipe/tube products.
- Prepare 2D/3D drawings and BOM.
- Select material, size, thickness and process.
- Develop prototypes and samples.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tool Room and Purchase.
- Develop manufacturing processes and tooling.
- Support welding, forming, bending, cutting and finishing processes.
- Define process parameters and inspection methods.
- Prepare testing and validation plans.
- Analyze trial results and solve product/process issues.
- Support PPAP and customer approval.
- Ensure successful product launch into production.
- Improve quality, productivity and development cost.
