Role Description This is a remote internship role for a News Anchor intern at UD Camera. The intern will support the creation and delivery of news and event segments, including on-camera presenting for digital platforms and recorded broadcasts. Day-to-day tasks may include preparing scripts, coordinating with the production team, reviewing event briefs, and conducting basic research to ensure accurate, engaging coverage.

The intern will assist with reporting on relevant topics,



rehearsing and recording news bulletins, and providing feedback on visual and editorial aspects to align with UD Camera’s storytelling standards. The role also involves maintaining professional on-screen presence, adhering to editorial guidelines, and collaborating with content creators and editors to refine final outputs.

Qualifications

- Strong reporting and news writing skills to research, gather, and present information clearly and accurately.
- Broadcasting and presenter abilities to deliver content confidently and professionally on camera or voice-over.
- Foundational knowledge of broadcast journalism to understand news ethics, formats, and audience engagement.
- Effective verbal communication, clear diction, and polished on-screen or on-mic presence.
- Ability to work remotely, manage time well, and collaborate with production and editing teams.
- Interest or academic background in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related fields (current students or recent graduates encouraged to apply).
- Comfort with basic digital tools and familiarity with social media or online video platforms is beneficial.
- Adaptability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a quick-paced, creative environment.
