Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Consultant Neurosurgeon to diagnose and manage patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions. The candidate should have solid expertise in performing neurosurgical procedures and managing both elective and emergency cases.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
- Perform neurosurgical procedures as per clinical requirements and area of expertise.
- Manage conditions involving the brain, spine, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves.
- Handle neurosurgical emergencies, including head injuries, intracranial hemorrhage, and spinal emergencies.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop appropriate surgical plans.
- Provide comprehensive post-operative care and monitor patient recovery.
- Review and interpret CT scans, MRI, angiography, and other relevant investigations.
- Coordinate with neurologists, intensivists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists.




- Participate in trauma and emergency care when required.
- Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, and recovery.
- Maintain accurate patient records, surgical notes, and clinical documentation.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines.
- Participate in emergency and on-call duties as required.

Qualifications
- MBBS + MS/DNB in General Surgery + M.Ch/DNB in Neurosurgery from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical registration.
- Relevant experience in Neurosurgery preferred.
- Strong surgical and clinical decision-making skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
