Job Title: Network Engineer

Experience: 4+ years

Monthly Gross Salary: Depends on experience

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Weekends Off)

Office Location: Godrej IT Park, Vikhroli

Job Purpose To design, implement, and maintain a secure and reliable network infrastructure across office, project, and marine/offshore sites, ensuring high availability of connectivity, proactive monitoring and remediation of network/security issues, and hands-on support of all networking, security, and connectivity systems.

Key Responsibilities

Network Administration & Support

- Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN infrastructure across office, project sites, and vessels
- Provide hands-on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network devices (switches, routers, wifi routers/access points, firewalls)
- Manage and support Starlink and VSAT connectivity for offshore, marine, and remote sites
- Administer and maintain file share systems and ensure availability and access control
- Perform routine maintenance, firmware/OS upgrades, and configuration backups on network devices

Network & Cybersecurity

- Configure, manage, and monitor Fortigate firewalls, including policies, VPNs, and security profiles
- Implement and maintain Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions
- Establish and enforce network security baselines across all sites and systems
- Monitor security events and alerts using QRadar or similar SIEM/monitoring tools, and act on open items to closure
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and support remediation of identified risks
- Ensure compliance with company IT security policies and industry best practices

Cloud & Infrastructure

- Support and maintain cloud network infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)



and Microsoft Azure
- Configure and manage cloud networking components (VCNs/VNets, gateways, security groups, VPN/ExpressRoute connections)
- Support integration between on-premises and cloud network environments

Monitoring & Reporting

- Continuously monitor network performance, availability, and security posture
- Track, prioritize, and act on open items/tickets until resolution, escalating where required
- Prepare and present regular reports on network usage, bandwidth consumption, uptime, and incidents
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records

Marine & Remote Site Support

- Provide network and connectivity support for vessels, barges, offshore platforms, and remote project sites
- Travel to sites/vessels as required for installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Coordinate with ISPs, VSAT, and Starlink providers for connectivity issue resolution

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field
- 3 – 6 years of experience as a Network Engineer (marine, construction, or contracting industry preferred)
- Proven hands-on experience configuring and supporting enterprise network and security infrastructure
- Experience supporting remote, offshore, or vessel-based connectivity is an advantage

Certifications & Technical Skills

- CCNA certified (required); CCNP certified (required/strongly preferred)




- Hands-on experience with Fortigate firewalls (policy, VPN, and security configuration)
- Experience with cloud networking on OCI and Azure
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with ZTNA solutions
- Robust understanding of network security baselines and hardening practices
- Experience with QRadar or other SIEM/network monitoring tools
- Working knowledge of VSAT and Starlink connectivity systems
- Experience with wifi routers/access point configuration and troubleshooting
- Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP)

Soft Skills

- Strong hands-on, practical troubleshooting mindset
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of open items through to resolution
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work under pressure in remote or offshore environments
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required

Preferred (Added Advantage)

- CCNA certified (required); CCNP certified (required/strongly preferred)
- Experience in marine/offshore IT environments
- Additional security certifications (Fortinet NSE, CompTIA Security+, or similar)
- Cloud certifications (Azure Administrator, OCI Associate, or similar)

Pay: Up to ₹100,000.00 per month
