Role Description The Music Teacher will deliver engaging online lessons to students in one or more instruments or vocal disciplines, following Music Champs’ curriculum and teaching standards. This part-time, remote role involves planning lesson content, demonstrating techniques, providing constructive feedback, and monitoring learner progress through regular assessments and practice assignments. The teacher will adapt instructional methods to different age groups and skill levels, maintain clear communication with learners and guardians,



and use digital tools to manage schedules, materials, and class records.

The role also includes fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and continued interest in music.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Music Theory and general Music concepts to support structured, progressive instruction.
- Demonstrated Music Performance skills, ideally in at least one instrument such as Piano, and confidence in performing and demonstrating techniques.
- Experience or training in Music Education, including lesson planning, student assessment, and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Prior experience teaching children or youth in individual or group settings, online or in-person.
- Ability to conduct remote classes using video platforms and digital learning tools; basic proficiency with computers and online communication.
- Clear, encouraging verbal and written communication skills, with a patient and supportive teaching style.
- Relevant education in music (certificates, diplomas, or degrees) or equivalent professional experience.
- Reliable internet connection and suitable home setup for delivering online music lessons.
