Role & responsibilities

Support, maintain, and enhance custom in-house financial applications used by client's Accounting and Corporate Systems teams.

- Design, develop, and troubleshoot full stack solutions spanning user interfaces, APIs, backend services, integrations, automation, SQL/data storage, and monitoring.
- Build and support integrations with Dynamics 365 Finance &
- Operations, including OData/API interactions, journal-related processes, financial dimensions, legal entities, data entities, security models, validation responses, and error handling.
- Develop and support Azure-hosted services using Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, and Entra ID.
- Translate business requirements into scalable applications, workflows, and automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, documentation, runbooks, knowledge transfer, and operational reliability improvements.

Required Skills and Experience Enterprise Application Development &

- Integration • Enterprise web application experience using React, TypeScript, and up-to-date front-end development frameworks.
- Ability to design, develop, and support full stack solutions across UI, API, integration, backend service, and data layers.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs to integrate enterprise platforms, business applications, cloud services, and internal systems. Dynamics 365 Platform &
- Business Systems • Experience supporting, extending, or integrating Dynamics 365, especially Finance &
- Operations.
- Knowledge of D365 data entities, business processes,



security models, integration patterns, and OData/API behavior.
- Basic to intermediate D365FO financial knowledge, including journals, journal batches, legal entities, financial dimensions, and user/security context.

Cloud

Development &

• Azure Services • Experience developing and supporting cloud-hosted solutions using Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and API Management.
- Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, authentication, authorization, and application security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, private endpoints, VNET integration, and application telemetry is preferred. DevOps &
- Automation • Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling for cloud infrastructure and application hosting environments.
- Experience using PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages to automate operational and business processes.

Enterprise Systems

Integration • Experience integrating SaaS, cloud, and on-premises platforms through APIs, messaging, and automated workflows.




- Ability to translate business process needs into scalable technical solutions that reduce manual effort and improve supportability.
- Platform ownership mindset with focus on maintainable, supportable solutions aligned to enterprise architecture standards. Monitoring &
- Operational Excellence • Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, and observability using New Relic, Azure Monitor, or Application Insights.
- Demonstrated production support experience, including troubleshooting issues and driving root cause analysis.
- Focus on resilient, supportable solutions with proactive monitoring and automated remediation where appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting custom financial systems, accounting applications, ERP integrations, reconciliation platforms, or journal-related automation.

- D365FO experience with OData error handling, throttling/service protection, retry logic, financial dimensions, data entities, and DMF concepts.
- Power BI/financial reporting awareness plus strong SQL troubleshooting, Azure SQL, stored procedures, reporting data models, and support queries.
- Experience writing technical documentation, support runbooks, deployment notes, and knowledge transfer materials.

Success

Profile • Hands-on engineer who can own issues across application, Azure, D365, data, reporting, integration, and operational support layers.
- Comfortable investigating ambiguous production issues and communicating clearly with business and technical stakeholders.
