About the Role

We are looking for a caring, passionate, patient, and well-trained Montessori Teacher to nurture our young learners and provide a stimulating environment based on Montessori principles and child-centred learning.

The ideal candidate should understand the developmental needs of young children and be able to encourage independence, curiosity, confidence, concentration, and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct Montessori-based learning activities for Pre-KG, LKG and UKG students.
- Follow Montessori principles of child-led, hands-on, and experiential learning.
- Introduce and effectively use Montessori learning materials appropriate to each child's developmental stage.
- Conduct activities related to Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural Studies.
- Develop early phonics, vocabulary, reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Build strong foundations in numbers, counting, basic mathematical concepts, and logical thinking.
- Encourage children's independence, concentration, coordination, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Use stories, rhymes, songs, art, movement, and interactive activities to enhance learning.
- Observe individual children's interests, abilities, and developmental progress.
- Provide appropriate guidance and individual attention based on each child's needs.
- Maintain an organised, calm, safe, and Montessori-friendly prepared environment.
- Encourage positive behaviour, social interaction, respect, and self-discipline.
- Maintain appropriate records of children's learning and development.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and development.




- Participate in school events, celebrations, activities, training programmes, and academic initiatives.

Requirements

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Montessori Education, Early Childhood Education, Education, English, or a related field.
- Montessori Teacher Training / AMI / AMS / NTT / ECCE / B.Ed qualification will be an advantage.
- Prior experience as a Montessori Teacher is preferred.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and classroom practices.
- Valuable child-handling and classroom management skills.
- Patient, caring, energetic, creative, and approachable personality.
- Ability to work effectively with young children.
- Freshers with relevant Montessori qualifications and a genuine passion for early childhood education may also be considered.
