Job Title: Mining Engineer – Quarry / Mines

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

Experience: 3–8 Years

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Mining Engineer to oversee day-to-day mining and quarry operations, ensure safe and efficient extraction, and maintain compliance with applicable mining and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, supervise and monitor daily quarry/mining operations.
- Ensure safe and efficient drilling, blasting, excavation and material handling activities.
- Supervise mine workers, operators and contractors.
- Monitor production targets and ensure optimum utilization of manpower and machinery.
- Ensure proper benching, excavation and quarry safety practices.
- Coordinate with drilling, blasting, crusher and production teams.
- Maintain daily production, dispatch and mining-related records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with DGMS, statutory safety requirements and applicable mining regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of mine/quarry working areas and identify safety hazards.
- Coordinate with management and statutory authorities whenever required.




- Monitor blasting operations and ensure proper safety procedures are followed.
- Assist in mine planning, production planning and resource utilization.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and environmental/safety practices at the quarry.
- Handle any operational issues and ensure timely corrective action.

Mandatory Qualification & Certification
- Diploma / Degree in Mining Engineering preferred.
- Valid Mine Foreman’s Certificate of Competency – Mandatory.
- Candidates must have relevant experience in open-cast mining / quarry operations.
- Knowledge of mining safety, drilling, blasting, excavation and heavy earth-moving machinery is required.
- Knowledge of DGMS rules and statutory mining requirements will be an advantage.
