Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Middle School English Teacher to teach students from Grades 6 to 8. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons, developing students’ language and communication skills, and supporting their overall academic growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English to students of Grades 6, 7 and 8 according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver effective lesson plans suitable for middle school students.
- Develop students’ skills in Grammar, Reading, Writing, Vocabulary, Literature and Communication.
- Conduct regular class tests, assessments, assignments and examinations.
- Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify students who need additional support and provide appropriate guidance.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Encourage students to participate in discussions, presentations, debates and other language activities.
- Prepare worksheets, teaching materials and other learning resources.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments and student performance.
- Communicate with parents regarding students’ academic progress when required.
- Participate in school meetings, events, workshops and co-curricular activities.




- Work collaboratively with the English Department and academic coordinators.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in Grades 6–8.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong knowledge of English grammar, literature and language skills.
- Positive classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to use innovative and activity-based teaching methods.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring middle school students.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience teaching Grades 6, 7 and 8 in a reputed English-medium/CBSE school.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.
- Ability to motivate students and create an engaging classroom environment.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
