About El Lo Bell El Lo Bell is a Delhi-based handcrafted fashion accessories brand. We make bold, travel-inspired bags using cotton canvas, paper raffia, and natural fibres, handcrafted by Indian artisans. We're growing fast and need someone who can own the sourcing and vendor side of the business so we can keep the product pipeline moving.

What you'll own

Vendor sourcing

- Research and identify recent vendors for bags, accessories, raw materials (canvas, raffia, hardware, trims)

- Do market visits — Nehru Place, Gandhi Nagar, Chandni Chowk, craft clusters — to find artisans and manufacturers we aren't currently working with

- Maintain a vendor directory with pricing, MOQs, lead times, and quality notes

Vendor relationships

- Be the first point of contact for all existing vendors

- Follow up on open orders, track delivery timelines, flag delays before they become problems

- Collect and share samples for new styles or materials

Product sourcing

- Translate design briefs into sourcing requirements and find the right vendor or artisan for each

- Get quotes from 2-3 sources before recommending one

- Coordinate sample development rounds and maintain a sample tracker





Manufacturing coordination

- Track production orders from confirmation to delivery

- Flag quality issues at the right stage rather than after the fact

- Liaise between the design direction (from us) and the production reality (from vendors)

What we're looking for

- 1-3 years in merchandising, buying, or sourcing — fashion, accessories, or handicrafts preferred

- You know your way around Delhi's wholesale and craft markets

- Comfortable negotiating with vendors and following up firmly without damaging relationships

- Organised enough to track multiple orders, vendors, and timelines without dropping things

- Communicates clearly in writing over WhatsApp and email

- Owns a phone, laptop, and the willingness to travel to vendor locations when needed

What this is not

- This is a freelance role, not a full-time job. You'll be expected to put in 3-4 hours a day on average. There's no office to report to. You'll work directly with the founders. If you need hand-holding or waiting for instructions on every step, this won't work.
