We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with robust experience in PTC Creo and surface modelling to support motorcycle component and product development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop advanced 3D CAD models using PTC Creo, with strong focus on surface modelling.
- Design and develop motorcycle components and assemblies.
- Support motorcycle packaging and component integration activities.
- Create and maintain engineering drawings as per BS 8888 standards.
- Apply GD&T; principles and manufacturing tolerances.
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and engineering validation.
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Perform engineering calculations and support technical feasibility assessments.
- Support engineering change management and resolve design-related issues.
- Ensure designs meet performance, quality, cost, manufacturability and project timing targets.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in PTC Creo.
- Good experience in Creo surface modelling.
- Mechanical/product design experience.
- Experience in automotive/motorcycle component design is preferred.
- Knowledge of GD&T; and tolerance stack-up.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of DFM and DFA.
