Role Description The Mechanical Design Engineer will work on-site in Bhubaneswar in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies for electronic weighbridge systems and related automation equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and refining mechanical designs, preparing detailed CAD models and drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet performance, safety, and cost requirements.

The role involves analyzing mechanical structures, selecting appropriate materials, supporting prototyping and testing,



and incorporating feedback from manufacturing and service teams into design improvements.

The Mechanical Design

Engineer will also assist in documentation, adherence to engineering standards, and continuous optimization of products for durability, reliability, and ease of maintenance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering, with a strong understanding of core engineering principles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Machine Design and Product Design, including experience designing mechanical components and assemblies.
- Candidates should possess skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar software.
- Relevant skills in materials selection, tolerance analysis, and basic structural or stress analysis are beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in industrial equipment, weighing systems, or automation solutions is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site workplace.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interpret technical specifications and industry standards.
