Marketing Head – Modular Office Furniture (Maharashtra / Karnataka / Gujarat / Telangana)

Company: Leading modular office furniture manufacturer (name shared with shortlisted candidates)

Openings: 4, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat and Telangana, based in the state's main commercial city

Setup: Full-time, permanent, work from home with local travel only

Experience: 10–20 years in office/modular furniture (mandatory)

Compensation: Fixed salary or commission/incentive model, finalised at interview

Reports to: Directors/Promoters

About the Role

Be the first sales hire in your state. The company already supplies leads; your priority is converting them into closed orders and growing the market. Solid performers will be supported to build and lead a local team.

Key Responsibilities

- Convert existing leads into sales
- Build relationships with Directors, Marketing/BD Heads and Company Secretaries
- Target MNCs and educational institutions
- Sell workstations, conference tables,



height-adjustable desks, storage and partition systems
- Handle client meetings, site visits, quotations, negotiation and closures
- Coordinate with design, production and installation teams
- Submit daily, weekly and monthly reports and forecasts

Requirements

- Proven record of closing high-value B2B orders
- Ready pool of active corporate, MNC or institutional clients (preferred)
- Excellent English and local-language communication
- Self-driven, independent, with leadership potential; own vehicle preferred
