Job title: Manager/Senior Manager - Procurement - Chennai

Location: Chennai (Sholinganallur)

Team: Manager - IC role/minimal team & Senior Manager - approximately span of 40 FTEs

Note: We will decide role basis experience and skill sets.

Shift: US shift timings/5 PM onwards

Domain: Expertise from manufacturing domain is preferred.

Work Mode: Work from Office/Hybrid

Role & Responsibilities:

Delivery & Operations:

Own end-to-end Procurement and Supply Chain delivery, ensuring achievement of contractual SLAs, KPIs, productivity, quality, compliance, and operational excellence targets.

Sourcing & Contracts:

Lead category management strategy, RFx processes, supplier negotiations, sourcing initiatives, contract execution, and value realization across complex procurement engagements.

Client & Governance:

Act as the senior client interface and escalation point; drive governance mechanisms including operational reviews, QBRs/ABRs, performance reporting, and continuous improvement plans.

People Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop managers and teams; drive workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, succession planning, and capability development.

Transformation & Savings:

Identify and deliver opportunities for spend optimization, cost savings, demand management,



process standardization, automation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.

Supply Chain Integration:

Provide expertise across enterprise supply chain functions, including Requisition-to-PO (R2P), supplier management, contract management, catalog/content management, and master data governance.

Quality, Risk & Controls:

Drive operational excellence through structured problem-solving methodologies, quality control tools, root cause analysis, audit readiness, policy compliance, risk management, and corrective action implementation.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, IT, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support transitions, solution design, innovation initiatives, business growth, and strategic account development.

Qualification: Any graduate/Post Graduate

Experience

- 10+ years in procurement, sourcing, contracts, supply chain or procurement outsourcing.
- Demonstrated experience leading global teams and client-facing delivery / transformation programs.
- Preferred certifications: CIPS, CPSM/ISM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma or MBA.
