We are looking for our client - an experienced and dynamic Manager – R&D; to lead and manage pharmaceutical research, development, and operational activities. The ideal candidate should have 14–18 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical formulation development, product development, technology transfer, and scale-up activities.

The candidate will be responsible for managing R&D; projects from product conceptualization and formulation development through optimization, scale-up, documentation, and successful technology transfer to commercial manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

R&D; & Product Development

- Lead and manage formulation development activities for new pharmaceutical products.
- Plan, execute, and monitor R&D; projects in line with business and product development objectives.
- Develop and optimize formulations and manufacturing processes for various dosage forms.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot formulation and process-related challenges.
- Conduct trials, optimization batches, and scale-up activities as required.
- Ensure timely completion of product development projects as per defined timelines.

Technology Transfer & Scale-Up
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams for successful technology transfer.
- Support scale-up activities from laboratory/pilot scale to commercial manufacturing.
- Prepare and review technology transfer documents, development reports, specifications, and related technical documentation.
- Provide technical support during exhibit, validation, and commercial batches.

Documentation & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure R&D; activities comply with GMP, regulatory requirements, SOPs, and internal quality standards.
- Managing day to day operational issues and activities
- Review and approve development protocols, reports, specifications,



and other technical documents.
- Support regulatory submissions by providing required technical and product development information.
- Maintain complete and accurate R&D; records and documentation.

Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the R&D; team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Allocate projects and responsibilities according to team capabilities and business priorities.
- Monitor team performance and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Train and develop team members on formulation development, processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.

Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, productivity improvement, and product quality enhancement.
- Stay updated with developments in pharmaceutical technology, formulation techniques, and regulatory expectations.
- Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives within the R&D; function.

Required Qualification

- M. Pharma from a recognized institution.
- M. Pharma candidates with relevant specialization and strong formulation R&D; experience will be preferred.

Required Experience & Skills

- 14–18 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical R&D;/formulation development.
- Strong experience in pharmaceutical product development and process optimization.
- Hands-on knowledge of scale-up and technology transfer activities.
- Solid understanding of GMP, regulatory requirements, documentation, and quality systems.
- Proven experience in managing R&D; projects and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet development timelines.

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹115,000.00 per month
