Manager - Legal & Compliance

Manage day to day legal, contractual, dispute resolution, labour and compliance requirements

What will you be doing:

1. Commercial Contracts

a. Review, draft, negotiate vendor, supplier, service, purchase, rental, marketing, influencer and other agreements b. Identify key commercial and legal risks including liability, indemnity, payment terms, quality and delivery commitments etc.
1. Handle disputes with vendors, suppliers, contractors and service providers

a. Draft legal notices, respond to vendor notices, initiate legal proceedings,



recover advances or amounts due
1. Manage and coordinate responses to complaints or notices received from consumers, regulators, industry bodies or other organizations.
2. Support HR & Factory teams on employment and labour related legal matters.
3. Maintain a structured compliance calendar across contracts, departments etc
4. Manage relationships with external lawyer and law firms for preparing case briefs, supporting documents, review drafts, track hearing dates and case developments
5. Manage IP related filings and compliances

Skill sets

1. LLB (Pref enrollment with Bar Council)
2. 4+ years of industry experience
3. Experience in in-house legal work, commercial contracts, consumer laws
4. Super organized & positive communications.

Work Location: Sector 18, Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon Work Days: Monday - Saturday (Second/Fourth Saturday's are holidays)
