Job Purpose The Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out Corrective, Reactive, and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities across Americana's restaurants, offices, and commissaries in the UAE. The role will primarily focus on Kitchen Equipment maintenance, while also supporting MEP and HVAC systems to ensure all facilities operate efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively in line with Americana standards.

Key Responsibilities Kitchen Equipment Maintenance (Primary Focus)

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment including:
- Fryers
- Ovens
- Broilers
- Grills
- Refrigerators
- Freezers
- Dishwashers
- Ventilation systems
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Respond to breakdown complaints within SLA timelines.
- Coordinate spare parts procurement and replacement.

MEP & HVAC Maintenance

- Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and other MEP assets.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor external contractors and service providers.

General Maintenance





- Perform monthly store inspections.
- Support hood cleaning and fire protection system monitoring.
- Minimize third-party repair costs through in-house troubleshooting where possible.
- Maintain maintenance records and reports.
- Coordinate with landlords, malls, and authorities when required.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely maintenance support.

Required Qualifications Education

- Technical Diploma or equivalent certification in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Refrigeration, or related field.

Experience

- 3-7 years of experience in:
- Commercial Kitchen Equipment Maintenance (Mandatory)
- MEP Maintenance
- HVAC Systems Maintenance
- Experience in:
- QSR (Quick Service Restaurants)
- Food & Beverage Industry
- Hotels
- Facilities Management

Technical Skills

- Kitchen Equipment troubleshooting and repair.
- HVAC maintenance and fault finding.
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Refrigeration systems maintenance.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and equipment standards.

Language

- English communication skills required.
- Arabic is an advantage.

License

- UAE/ Local City Driving License preferred.
- Candidates willing and eligible to obtain a UAE Driving License will also be considered.
