Responsibilities
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery: forming machines, hot presses, pulpers, pumps, dryers and conveyors
- Welding, cutting and fabrication work (arc / MIG / gas cutting)
- Repairing and fabricating machine parts, frames, brackets and pipelines
- Finding faults quickly to keep downtime low
- Keeping basic records of maintenance work and spare-parts use
- Following safety rules in the plant
Requirements
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a paper mill, pulp moulding or moulded-fibre plant
- Strong hands-on welding and fabrication skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems (bearings, gearboxes, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics)
- ITI in Welder / Fitter / Mechanical preferred
- Willing to work in shifts and handle breakdowns when needed
- Able to read and follow easy drawings (preferred)
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
