Role & responsibilities

- . Closely work with all team members to build their capabilities to enhance team performance, while simultaneously innovating to increase plant effectiveness.

- Own, as a coach and responsible for their training and certification

- Thorough knowledge about Work Roll and Backup Roll management.

- Depth knowledge about Rolling Process & operation of Rolling Mills

- Depth knowledge about Rolls & Chokes assembly

- Proper handling & shifting of generated byproduct from rolling Mill.

- Weekly meeting with all shift in charge as coach and give them feedback for lead parameter improvement.

- Review & analysis of costing, and raw material planning to meeting target from management.

- Ensure timely fulfillment of task from management, whenever asked.





- Ensure the availability of Rolls and Spares for the roll grinding machine to avoid uninterrupted production

- Ensure work place safety

Required Competencies

- Through knowledge of Rolling Mill.

- Basics of Metallurgy and Rolling Technology.

- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical & instrumentation, raw material planning and product handling.

- Depth knowledge of application of types of rolls, structural steel, alloy steel and all special steel grades, innovation & product development.

- Costing planning, review & implementation.

- Computer proficiency & SAP fundamentals.

- Business etiquettes.

- Managerial skill, communication & leadership

- Job scheduling & Rationalization of Manpower.
