Logistics Executive Freight Operations | 35 Years | Bangalore

We are looking for a Logistics Executive – Freight Operations to manage transportation operations, freight billing, transporter coordination, POD management, freight cost tracking, and logistics MIS. The role will work closely with transporters, customers, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Warehousing teams to ensure smooth and cost-effective movement of finished goods.

Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor Finished Goods transportation, including FTL movements.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics service providers for timely dispatch and delivery.
- Verify and process freight bills and transportation invoices.
- Handle transporter/vendor reconciliation and billing discrepancies.
- Track freight costs and support transportation cost optimization.
- Manage POD collection, verification, and documentation.
- Prepare logistics MIS reports, dashboards, and management reports.
- Analyse transportation performance, freight spend, and service levels.
- Maintain accurate logistics data in ERP and logistics management systems.
- Coordinate with Finance for invoice processing and payment closure.
- Work with Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Warehousing, Finance, customers, and transport partners to resolve operational issues.

Requirements

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Logistics, Transportation, Freight Operations, or Supply Chain.
- Hands-on experience in freight bill verification, invoice processing, and transporter reconciliation.
- Solid understanding of POD management and logistics documentation.
- Experience in Finished Goods transportation; FTL exposure will be an advantage.




- Experience in logistics MIS preparation and reporting.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
- Experience with ERP/logistics management systems.
- Strong analytical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Graduate in any discipline.
