Position: Inventory Control Manager Contractor

Location: Ranjangaon, Pune, Maharashtra

Work Mode: 100% Work from Office

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are looking for an Inventory Control professional to manage end-to-end inventory activities for a leading global technology organization at its manufacturing partner facility in Ranjangaon, Pune.

The role will focus on inventory accuracy, SAP/ERP transactions, inventory reconciliation, discrepancy resolution, cycle counts, scrap management, audits and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain inventory accuracy between physical stock and SAP/ERP records.
- Monitor inventory receipts, material movements, stock levels and discrepancies.
- Execute and troubleshoot SAP/ERP inventory transactions related to receiving, movements, adjustments and reconciliation.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Drive corrective actions and ensure inventory issues are resolved within timelines.
- Manage cycle counts, inventory audits, reconciliation and scrap activities.
- Develop inventory reports, dashboards and KPIs to improve visibility.
- Create and continuously improve SOPs, inventory controls and standard work.
- Work closely with manufacturing partners, suppliers and global teams to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Identify opportunities to use automation, AI,



scripting and digital tools to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

Mandatory Skills
- 1+ year of experience in Inventory Control / Inventory Management / Supply Chain / Logistics / Manufacturing Operations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Knowledge of inventory reconciliation and inventory accuracy.
- Experience in cycle counting and inventory discrepancy resolution.
- Solid Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Good analytical and data-handling skills.
- Strong ownership and ability to work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering or related field.

Good to Have
- SAP MM experience.
- Electronics / PCBA / Semiconductor / Automotive / high-volume manufacturing experience.
- Experience working with CEM/EMS manufacturing partners.
- Power BI / SQL / Python / scripting.
- AI / automation / digital process improvement experience.
- Experience developing SOPs and inventory controls.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with backgrounds such as:
