:
Responsible for managing the end-to-end export cycle of goods, ensuring that international shipments are documented accurately, delivered on time, and fully compliant with trade laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Documentation Management: Prepare and process essential export documents, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and Shipping Bills.
- Logistics Coordination: Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and Customs House Agents (CHAs) to book shipments and track them from origin to final destination.
- Compliance & Legal: Ensure all shipments adhere to international trade regulations, INCOTERMS, and country-specific customs requirements to avoid delays or penalties.
- Financial Handling: On time processing & payment to service providers
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain skilled relationships with service providers and provide timely updates on shipment status and delivery schedules.
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is typically desired.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with and advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint for tracking ,data entry & MIS
- Negotiation: Ability to negotiate shipping rates and terms with carriers and logistics providers to optimize costs.
- Attention to Detail: High precision in verifying shipping instructions and labels to prevent customs issues.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) procedures, customs tariffs, and export incentive schemes.Role & responsibilities
