Position: Legal Manager Real Estate Business Acquisition

Experience

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Real Estate Legal / Business Acquisition / Real Estate Transactions.

- Must have successfully concluded 5+ real estate project transactions.

- Must have experience dealing with multiple government authorities and courts.

- Should have solid knowledge of the Revenue Department, land-related matters and FSI norms, particularly 33-XX schemes.

- Must have experience managing a legal team of 6+ members.

- Should have exposure to working with one large corporate / reputed real estate organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end legal transactions for real estate project acquisitions, including due diligence, negotiations, documentation and closure.

- Conduct legal due diligence of land and real estate projects, including title, ownership, development rights, approvals, encumbrances and litigation.





- Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies and courts for project and transaction-related matters.

- Handle matters relating to Revenue Department, MCGM/BMC, MHADA, SRA, RERA and other relevant authorities.

- Review and negotiate Development Agreements, JV Agreements, MOUs, Term Sheets, Sale/Purchase Agreements and other transaction documents.

- Provide legal inputs on FSI, 33-XX schemes, development potential and regulatory requirements.

- Manage litigation and court matters related to land and real estate projects.

- Coordinate with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders for transaction closure.

- Lead and manage the legal team, ensuring effective execution of assigned matters.
