Role Summary
Provide technical and operational support across core lab workflows, including tissue processing, paraffin block sectioning, staining and slide scanning, while following SOPs and QC protocols under senior histopathology staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Tissue sample receiving and processing
- Routine paraffin block sectioning
- H&E; and special staining
- Operating slide scanners
- Maintaining bench inventory and preparing buffers and reagents
- Upholding SOPs under the direction of senior histopathology staff
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) or Diploma (DMLT)
- 1 year of clinical or diagnostic lab experience, preferably in pathology, histology or biochemistry
Preferred
- Hands-on experience in tumor histopathology, imaging, and molecular assays such as PCR, NGS and IHC
