About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate may be a fresher or have up to 1 year of experience in software testing. The candidate will be responsible for testing applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring the quality and functionality of software products.

Key Responsibilities

· Execute manual testing of web and mobile applications.

· Understand project requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.

· Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.

· Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.

· Collaborate with developers and QA team members to resolve issues.

· Retest fixed bugs and verify software functionality.

· Maintain test documentation and testing reports.

· Ensure applications meet quality standards before release.

Required Skills





· Basic knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

· Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

· Knowledge of manual testing concepts.

· Understanding of test cases, test scenarios, and bug life cycle.

· Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing is preferred.

· Familiarity with Jira or other bug-tracking tools is an advantage.

· Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

Eligibility

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, BCA, MCA, or a related field.

· Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience can apply.

· Candidates with knowledge of manual testing and basic QA concepts are preferred.

· Strong willingness to learn and grow in software testing.
