Java / Spring Boot Technical Lead

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java / Spring Boot Technical Lead with strong hands-on development expertise and proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of microservices, API design, CI/CD, databases, and Agile delivery practices.

Experience in the Banking and Financial Services domain will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement microservices-based architectures and robust RESTful APIs.
- Lead, mentor, and guide development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and design reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, business stakeholders, and other technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to improve deployment efficiency and application reliability.
- Design, optimize, and maintain databases with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, performance issues, and production defects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to effective Agile project delivery.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.




- Promote engineering best practices, clean coding standards, and continuous improvement within the development team.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture and API design.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring software development teams.
- Hands-on experience with code reviews and design reviews.
- Good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Solid knowledge of database design and performance optimization.
- Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in the Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech domain is preferred.
- Experience working on large-scale, enterprise-level applications will be an added advantage.
