Job Profile: IT Category Management Support and Strategic Sourcing

Job Location: Chennai but can work remotely from any location in India.

Shift Timing:

UK 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Summer/BST) = India 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM

UK 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Winter/GMT) = India 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Role & responsibilities

- Execute and support sourcing projects
- Support in potential supplier selection process
- Responsible for end to end RFx management
- Assist in managing and negotiating contracts
- Engage with customers to drive strategic sourcing initiatives and communicate progress.
- Support in resolution of any technical Issue / query from Suppliers
- Perform total cost of ownership evaluations, perform supply-market research and conduct bench marking analysis with respect to the industry standards
- Service delivery and governance
- Meet the cost savings targets

Preferred candidate profile





- 4 to 6 years of Procurement and Category Management/Strategic Sourcing Experience
- Min 3 years experience of IT Sourcing (also software and services categories)
- Experience in sourcing for and from global requirements (Europe & US supplier base included)
- Hands on Indirect Sourcing experience
- Functional exposure to various P2P System
- Should have hands on experience in managing various Tactical Procurement activities viz. RFx management, spot buy, sourcing support, catalog management, contract negotiation and administration, vendor performance management etc.
- Spend analysis and end to end S2P expertise

System Experience : eProcurement - Ivalua, SAP or any other top
