Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular internal audits of jewelry manufacturing, retail, warehouse, stores, purchase, sales, and finance operations.

- Verify gold, silver, diamond, gemstone, finished jewelry, and semi-finished stock.

- Check physical stock against ERP/system records and investigate discrepancies.

- Audit gold and diamond inward/outward movements, issue/return processes, and job-work transactions.

- Verify production records, wastage, recovery, melting, and manufacturing losses.

- Review purchase invoices, sales invoices, credit notes, expense bills, and supporting documents.

- Check vendor and customer transactions for accuracy and compliance with company policies.

- Monitor job workers/karigars and reconcile material issued versus material received.

- Review cash, bank, POS, and daily sales reconciliation where applicable.

- Identify control weaknesses, irregularities, process deviations, and potential fraud risks.





- Prepare audit observations and reports with practical corrective actions.

- Follow up with concerned departments to ensure closure of audit observations.

- Verify adherence to company SOPs, authorization procedures, and approval limits.

- Conduct surprise checks of cash, inventory, diamonds, gold, and other valuable assets.

- Assist in statutory, tax, and compliance-related audits when required.

- Maintain proper audit working papers, checklists, records, and supporting documents.

- Support management in improving internal controls and operational efficiency.
