Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in South Delhi.

The Interior

Designer will develop concepts, space plans, and layouts for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects in alignment with client requirements and Urbane’s design standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing interior design presentations, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E; specifications, and producing detailed construction drawings in collaboration with architects and engineers. The role involves regular client meetings, site visits,



and coordination with contractors and vendors to ensure design intent is accurately executed and project timelines are met.

The Interior

Designer is expected to contribute to project documentation, maintain design quality, and support research-driven design processes within the studio.

Qualifications

- Strong interior design and space planning skills, with the ability to translate user needs into functional and aesthetic solutions.
- Knowledge of architecture fundamentals and coordination with multi-disciplinary design teams.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed construction drawings and documentation for execution on site.
- Experience with FF&E; selection, specification, and coordination, including furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite) and basic BIM awareness.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong visual communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with attention to detail and design accuracy.
- Ability to work on-site in South Delhi, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with team members, consultants, and contractors.
- Prior experience in an architecture or interior design studio and familiarity with design-and-build processes is an advantage.
