Role Descriptionstrong> :

- Applicant should possess a FULL TIME degree in interior design/Architecture

-This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Chandigarh, India.

-Minimum experience of 2 years is required. Applications below this will be rejected.

-The Interior Designer will develop concept designs and detailed interior layouts that prioritize health-centric, stress-reducing environments for residential and commercial projects.

-Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, preparing construction drawings, and coordinating FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) in line with Studio Freeform’s wellness-focused design philosophy.





-The role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors, conducting site visits, and overseeing implementation to ensure design integrity and functional performance.

The Interior Designer will also contribute to research-driven design strategies, integrating ergonomics, lighting, and psycho-social principles into each project.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to create functional, wellness-focused layouts.
- Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to develop detailed plans and coordinate effectively with project teams.
- Candidates should possess FF&E; and material selection skills to curate furniture, fixtures, and finishes that support comfort, ergonomics, and calming aesthetics.
- Relevant skills such as knowledge of lighting design, ergonomics, and human-centered design principles are highly beneficial.
- A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, along with experience in residential or commercial interiors, is preferred.
- Strong visual communication, proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and the ability to manage multiple projects are desirable.
- Collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and interest in wellness-oriented, research-based design approaches will be valued.
