Role & responsibilities

- Ensure operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability of process instrumentation, automation systems, and manufacturing equipment.

- Calibrate, maintain, and monitor field instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, level transmitters, control valves, and analyzers.

- Troubleshoot and rectify PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, and automation-related issues to minimize equipment downtime.

- Support qualification and validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) for equipment, utilities, computerized systems, and process instruments.

- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of instrumentation and control systems.

- Monitor and maintain pharmaceutical utility systems including HVAC, purified water, compressed air, chillers, boilers, and BMS/EMS systems.

- Prepare and review SOPs, calibration records, maintenance documentation, change controls, and technical reports in compliance with cGMP requirements.

- Ensure compliance with GMP, Data Integrity, 21 CFR Part 11, CSV,



and regulatory guidelines during all engineering activities.

- Drive TPM, energy optimization, reliability improvement, and Industry 4.0/IoT initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

- Support audits, inspections, and cross-functional projects while ensuring continuous improvement in process control, equipment performance, and plant reliability.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
