Role & responsibilities

- Handle and manage civil litigation matters, including drafting, reviewing, and filing of pleadings, notices, replies, applications, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal advice to the management and internal departments on matters relating to Civil Laws, Contracts, Commercial Disputes, and Legal Compliance.
- Manage consumer-related matters, including consumer complaints, notices, replies, and proceedings before District/State Consumer Commissions and other relevant authorities.
- Handle and advise on Real Estate matters, including property transactions, title verification, lease agreements and property-related disputes.
- Conduct legal due diligence of properties, including verification of title documents, ownership records, encumbrances, approvals, registrations, and other relevant property documents.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize various legal agreements, contracts, MOUs, notices, undertakings, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate with external advocates, law firms, government authorities, courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies for ongoing legal matters.
- Monitor and track litigation, court hearings, legal notices, case status,



and statutory deadlines, ensuring timely action and compliance.
- Handle legal notices and disputes received from customers, vendors, business partners, authorities, and other stakeholders and prepare appropriate responses.
- Ensure proper legal documentation, record maintenance, and compliance for all ongoing and concluded legal matters.
- Identify potential legal risks in business operations and provide practical legal solutions and risk-mitigation strategies to the management.
- Keep the organization updated on relevant changes in Civil, Consumer Protection, Real Estate, and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Represent or coordinate representation of the organization before courts, consumer forums, tribunals, and other legal authorities, wherever required.

Work closely with business, finance, sales, operations, and other internal teams to provide timely legal support and ensure legal compliance. Preferred candidate profile Must have experience of Civil Litigation, Real Estate Laws and Consumer Laws
