Position: Industrial Trainee Finance & Accounts

Qualification: CA Final / CA Industrial Trainee

Duration: 1 Year

Stipend: 25,000 per month

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

Work Mode: Full-time / On-site

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CA Industrial Trainee to join our Finance & Accounts team for a one-year industrial training period. The role will provide hands-on exposure to commercial finance, business performance analysis, accounting, audit, process automation, corporate projects, and GCC/GEC setup initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, an eye for detail, and an interest in understanding business processes beyond traditional accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Finance & Receivables

- Support the business in the evaluation of commercial schemes and customer claims related to further supplies.
- Review and validate the working, calculations, and supporting documents submitted for customer claims.
- Monitor claims received, settled, and pending, and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting.
- Monitor and perform reconciliation of receivables from customers and identify discrepancies for timely resolution.
- Coordinate with relevant business and commercial teams to ensure timely closure of claims and receivable-related matters.

Business Performance & Analysis

- Analyse business performance through trend analysis, growth analysis, and variance analysis.
- Prepare management reports, MIS, dashboards, and analytical presentations to support business decision-making.
- Identify key business trends and areas of improvement based on financial and operational data.

Process Automation & SOP

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation across finance and commercial processes.
- Work closely with the IT team for implementation of automation initiatives.
- Develop, document,



and implement SOPs and process controls covering key finance and commercial activities.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time.

Accounting, Audit & Closing

- Assist in day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
- Coordinate and provide support for statutory, internal, and other audits.
- Ensure proper documentation, reconciliation, and closure of accounting-related items.

Corporate Projects & GCC/GEC

- Work on the setup of GEC/GCC Centre in coordination with a leading Big 4 consulting firm.
- Support the execution and implementation of special corporate projects involving finance and cross-functional teams.
- Assist in project planning, analysis, documentation, implementation, and tracking of deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure timely execution of key initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

- CA Final student eligible for Industrial Training.
- Robust understanding of accounting and finance concepts.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of Power BI/automation tools will be an advantage.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates who are curious, proactive, and keen to gain practical corporate exposure will be preferred.
