Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced IIT Foundation Teacher to teach and mentor students of Classes 6–8. The teacher will be responsible for building solid conceptual foundations in Mathematics and Science, developing analytical and logical thinking skills, and preparing students for future competitive examinations such as JEE and other Olympiad-level examinations.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach IIT Foundation-level Mathematics and/or Science to students of Classes 6–8.
- Develop strong conceptual understanding and application-based learning.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the school's academic curriculum and IIT Foundation syllabus.
- Introduce students to problem-solving, logical reasoning, analytical thinking and higher-order thinking skills.
- Prepare worksheets, study materials, assignments, quizzes and practice tests.
- Conduct regular assessments and track students' academic progress.
- Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate remedial support.
- Train students to solve competitive and application-oriented questions.
- Encourage participation in Olympiads, science/mathematics competitions and other academic competitions.
- Maintain proper records of lesson plans, assessments, student performance and academic progress.
- Provide regular feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance.
- Work closely with the Academic Coordinator and other subject teachers to ensure effective curriculum delivery.




- Participate in academic meetings, training programmes, school events and other assigned responsibilities.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, engaging and intellectually stimulating classroom environment.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Science, Engineering or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed. is preferred.
- Robust understanding of IIT/JEE Foundation concepts for middle-school students.
- Prior experience teaching Classes 6–8 / IIT Foundation / Olympiad preparation is preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and make learning engaging.
- Good proficiency in English.

Performance Expectations The teacher is expected to improve students' conceptual clarity, problem-solving ability, academic performance and readiness for higher-level competitive examinations through structured and engaging IIT Foundation training.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
