HR MANAGER

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead and strengthen our HR function with a strong focus on Talent Management, Recruitment, Training & Development, and Performance Management Systems (PMS).

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of sales-driven organizations and the ability to align HR initiatives with business and sales objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Management

- Develop and implement talent management strategies aligned with business goals.
- Identify high-potential employees and build career development plans.
- Strengthen succession planning and employee retention initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement and organizational development initiatives.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

- Lead end-to-end recruitment for sales, corporate and leadership positions.
- Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract quality talent.
- Partner with business heads to understand manpower requirements and close positions within timelines.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical roles.

Training & Development

- Identify training needs across functions, especially the sales team.
- Design and coordinate training programs for capability and skill development.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and track employee development.
- Support leadership development and career progression programs.





Performance Management System (PMS)

- Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the PMS.
- Define and align KRAs/KPIs with business and departmental objectives.
- Coordinate goal setting, periodic reviews, performance assessments and appraisal processes.
- Work closely with managers to improve employee performance and accountability.

Sales & Business Understanding

- Develop a strong understanding of sales operations, targets, productivity and field-force requirements.
- Partner with Sales/Business Heads to address manpower, capability and performance-related challenges.
- Understand sales KPIs and translate business requirements into effective HR interventions.
- Support workforce planning and talent strategies for sales teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Strong knowledge of Talent Management & HR Practices & Excellent Recruitment & Talent Acquisition expertise
- Hands-on experience in PMS/KRA/KPI implementation
- Strong Training & Development capabilities
- Good understanding of Sales & Business Operations
- Strong stakeholder and people-management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Solid analytical and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel and HR systems/HRIS

QUALIFICATION

- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- 10-15 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in Textile, Apparel, Retail, FMCG or other sales-driven industries.
