SeekhoBecho.com is an e-commerce enablement platform that helps sellers and entrepreneurs start and grow their online business across marketplaces and their own websites. We are a fast-growing team of marketers, editors, tech and sales professionals, and we are looking for an HR Executive who can build and manage our people operations from scratch.

Role Overview

We need a hands-on HR Executive who can handle the complete employee lifecycle, from hiring to exit. You will hire for both IT and non-IT roles and be the first point of contact for candidates and employees.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment

- Create job descriptions and post openings on Indeed, Naukri, LinkedIn and other job portals
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals and social media
- Screen resumes and conduct initial telephonic or video screening
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
- Hire for both IT roles (developers, designers, etc.) and non-IT roles (marketing, sales, telecallers, operations, editing)
- Make offers, negotiate and follow up till joining

Onboarding & Documentation

- Collect and verify joining documents (ID proof, education and experience documents, bank details)
- Prepare offer letters, appointment letters and employment contracts
- Conduct induction and ensure smooth onboarding of new joiners




- Maintain employee records, files and HR database

Background Verification

- Run background checks (previous employment, education and address verification)
- Coordinate with BGV agencies or previous employers when required

Employee Management & Offboarding

- Handle attendance and leave records
- Support payroll inputs and coordinate with accounts
- Manage resignations, exit interviews, notice period and handover
- Complete full and final settlement documentation, and issue experience and relieving letters
- Support employee engagement activities and resolve basic employee queries

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree (MBA/PGDM in HR is a plus)
- 2–3 years of experience in HR recruitment and generalist work
- Experience in hiring for both technical and non-technical roles
- Good knowledge of job portals (Indeed, Naukri, LinkedIn)
- Strong communication skills in Hindi and English
- Knowledge of basic HR documentation, background verification process and exit formalities
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets and Google Docs
- Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple openings at once

Good to Have

- Experience in a startup, e-commerce or digital marketing company
- Basic understanding of labour laws, PF and ESI
