Job Title: Housekeeping Trainer

Role Summary

The Housekeeping Trainer trains, guides, and mentors students in the housekeeping trade, building both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical skills in cleaning, maintenance, hygiene, and customer service to hospitality industry standards. The trainer prepares trainees for employment in hotels, hospitals, corporate offices, and other service sectors.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Training Delivery

- Conduct classroom and practical training sessions per the prescribed curriculum and lesson plan (ACLP).
- Teach core topics including cleaning procedures and equipment handling, waste segregation and disposal, room and public area cleaning, laundry and linen management, pest control, safety and hygiene practices, and guest handling and communication etiquette.
- Ensure sessions are participatory, interactive, and skill-oriented.
- Demonstrate proper use of cleaning materials, tools, and chemicals in compliance with safety norms.

Curriculum Implementation & Center Coordination

- Follow organizational frameworks, policies, and guidelines for the skill training program.
- Ensure completion of training modules per the training calendar.
- Prepare training aids, presentations, and handouts to enhance learning.
- Identify trainees who need extra support and conduct remedial sessions.
- Coordinate with the Center Coordinator on infrastructure readiness, materials, and equipment.

Assessment & Evaluation

- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to measure trainee progress.
- Maintain records of attendance, performance, and assessments.




- Ensure timely submission of progress reports and certification data.
- Support trainees preparing for external assessments conducted by the Sector Skill Council (SSC).

Industry & Placement Readiness

- Train students in soft skills, grooming, workplace behavior, and qualified ethics.
- Organize mock interviews, role-plays, and guest lectures from industry professionals.
- Guide trainees in resume preparation and interview readiness.
- Support placement activities in coordination with the placement officer.

Center & Administrative Responsibilities

- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and decorum in class.
- Keep attendance, assessments, and documentation updated regularly.
- Participate in trainer meetings, audits, and feedback sessions.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the housekeeping lab and training area.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Graduate in any discipline (Hotel Management / Hospitality preferred).
- Diploma or Certificate in Housekeeping or Hospitality Management from a recognized institute preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in housekeeping (hotels, hospitals, or facilities management).
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching or training experience in a similar domain preferred.
- Working knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials, and techniques.
- Understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and occupational safety standards.
- Ability to demonstrate practical housekeeping procedures effectively.

Pay: ₹336,000.00 - ₹384,000.00 per year
