Position Overview

Dr. Aravind’s IVF Fertility & Pregnancy Center is seeking an experienced Lab Technician to support laboratory activities at our Coimbatore location.

The position is suitable for candidates with 2–3 years of hospital laboratory experience who can handle routine laboratory work carefully and maintain proper documentation and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine laboratory procedures as assigned by the laboratory team.
- Collect, receive, label, and process patient samples according to established procedures.
- Handle samples carefully and maintain proper identification throughout the process.
- Operate laboratory equipment responsibly and report any equipment-related concerns.
- Record test-related information accurately in registers or relevant systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laboratory area.
- Follow appropriate sample handling, storage, and disposal procedures.




- Monitor laboratory supplies and inform the concerned team when replenishment is required.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and quality procedures applicable to the laboratory.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff when required.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and laboratory information.

Candidate Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Medical Laboratory Technology / Laboratory Science.
- 2–3 years of hospital laboratory experience.
- Practical understanding of routine laboratory procedures.
- Ability to handle patient samples with care and attention to detail.
- Valuable documentation and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working as part of a healthcare team.
- Responsible approach to laboratory safety and hygiene.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
