About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager – Agentic AI & Enterprise Applications to lead a greenfield engineering organisation building production-grade Agentic AI systems.

You will lead a team of 10–15 engineers and own the technical direction, architecture, delivery, engineering practices, and team growth. The role requires someone who combines robust engineering leadership with hands-on production experience in LLMs, agent orchestration, cloud infrastructure, observability, and AI evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and lead a 10–15 member engineering team focused on Agentic AI and enterprise applications.
- Define the architecture for autonomous AI systems involving planning, memory, tool calling, multi-agent workflows, and guardrails.
- Lead the development of agent orchestration and tool-use frameworks from the ground up.
- Establish observability and evaluation strategies for non-deterministic, multi-step AI workflows.
- Drive reliability and safety practices including sandboxing, human-in-the-loop controls, rollback mechanisms, and continuous evaluation.
- Partner with Product and business stakeholders to convert ambiguous requirements into scalable AI products.
- Drive an AI-Driven Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) across the engineering organisation.
- Provide architecture reviews, technical guidance, code reviews,



engineering estimates, and delivery oversight.
- Build hiring strategies, mentor engineers, and establish career-growth frameworks.
- Monitor engineering velocity, platform reliability, system performance, delivery risks, and technical debt.
- Communicate architecture and technical trade-offs clearly to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Experience
- 12+ years of overall software engineering experience.
- 5+ years managing engineering teams.
- Proven experience building or operating production-grade LLM/Agentic AI systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with agent orchestration, tool calling, RAG, planning loops, or multi-agent systems.
- Experience with frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, or custom agent orchestration platforms.
- Strong AWS expertise, particularly Bedrock AgentCore and AWS Step Functions / ASL.
- Proven experience implementing AIDLC and replacing or significantly transforming traditional SDLC/PDLC practices.
- Strong experience with Harness engineering / CI/CD practices.
- Strong understanding of AI observability and evaluation (Evals), including tracing, monitoring, regression detection, drift detection, and evaluation harnesses.
- Strong backend experience with Python and FastAPI.
- Working knowledge of React and Tailwind.
- Ability to work effectively in a greenfield, ambiguous, fast-moving engineering environment.

Nice to Have
- Experience designing safety mechanisms and guardrails for autonomous AI agents.
- Experience with human-in-the-loop architecture and AI risk controls.
- Experience building enterprise Agentic AI platforms from zero to production.
- Experience working with JLL's Solstice design system.
