Role Description The Analytical Development (ADL) – OSD Formulations professional will be responsible for leading and executing analytical method development and validation activities for oral solid dosage (OSD) formulations in the pharmaceutical setting. Day-to-day tasks include designing and optimizing analytical methods, conducting routine and stability testing, interpreting and documenting analytical data, and ensuring compliance with cGMP, regulatory, and quality standards. The role involves close collaboration with formulation development, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams to support product development, scale-up, and tech transfer.

The individual will prepare technical reports, SOPs, and method validation protocols,



and contribute to troubleshooting analytical issues in the lab. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Roorkee.

Qualifications

- Robust analytical skills with experience in analytical method development, validation, and troubleshooting for OSD formulations using techniques such as HPLC, UV, dissolution, and related instrumentation.
- Effective communication skills, including explicit technical writing, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D;, QA, and manufacturing teams.
- Ability to work with relevant laboratory software and data systems (e.g., chromatography data systems, LIMS), and familiarity with basic programming or automation tools for data analysis is an advantage.
- Awareness of business and stakeholder needs; prior exposure to technical support for sales or customer-facing teams in pharma is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related discipline, with 7+ years of experience in analytical development for OSD formulations in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Thorough understanding of cGMP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements related to analytical methods and stability studies.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a laboratory environment.
- Experience in leading or mentoring junior team members and contributing to continuous improvement of lab processes is preferred.
