Role Description - this is an entry level position only The Healthcare Advisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

In this role, the advisor

1. will call / receive calls from customers and guide them on available healthcare services and fix an appointment for them
2. will make necessary entries in CRM
3. will escalate any issues / difficulties to the team lead
4. will report to the team lead on a daily basis

Qualification

1. B.Sc., FSND, FSN or Home Science, or B.Sc., Microbiology or any other similar science degree
2. fresher or with experience in health care voice process or any other similar voice process
3. multi lingual - should know the speak Tamil, English, Hindi or Kannada
4. Willing to travel or shift nearer to Arumbakkam, Chennai
5. To work in either 6.30 am to 2.30 pm shift or 2 pm to 10 pm

1. , treatment pathways, and benefit options, ensuring they understand and can access appropriate care. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing individual healthcare needs, explaining service offerings, providing clear information on Medicare and other healthcare plans, and coordinating with clinical and administrative teams.



The advisor will also support patients through the enrollment process, address questions, and help resolve basic issues related to coverage and service utilization. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering empathetic, patient-centered support in a rapid-paced environment.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills to assess healthcare needs, interpret information, and support data-informed recommendations.
- Consulting and Healthcare Consulting experience to advise patients, families, and partner organizations on suitable healthcare solutions.
- Knowledge of the Healthcare Industry, including care delivery models, patient journeys, and regulatory considerations.
- Understanding of Medicare and related health insurance programs, with the ability to explain benefits and processes clearly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse patient populations.
- Customer service orientation, with empathy, patience, and the ability to build trust and rapport.
- Ability to work effectively on-site in Chennai, collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare and operational teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, life sciences, or a related field; relevant certifications in healthcare advisory or health insurance are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, health insurance, or health-tech environment is beneficial.
