Head Testing - BESS Role PurposeLead end-to-end testing, validation, and certification of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), ensuring performance, safety, and compliance across components and integrated systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement Test Strategy & Validation Plans (cell/module/pack/system level)Establish and manage testing infrastructure & labs (electrical, thermal, safety, environmental)Lead system-level validation: Battery, BMS, PCS, EMS, container integrationEnsure compliance with IEC / UL / BIS standards and certification requirementsDrive performance, reliability, and safety testing (cycle life, abuse, thermal runaway)Own test data analysis, reporting, and sign-offs for product releaseLead failure analysis (RCA) and validation of corrective actionsCollaborate with R&D;, Quality, and Manufacturing for design and process improvementsManage external test labs, certification bodies, and customer validationsMust-Have Experience12–18 years in testing/validationStrong experience in BESS / Battery / EV / Power Electronics testingExposure to system-level validation & certification
