As we continue to scale our footprint across India and the Middle East, we are seeking a strategic operational leader based out of our Mumbai office to drive our next phase of growth and operational maturity.

Role Overview The Head of Operations will act as the operational engine for The SSI Group’s India and Dubai businesses. This critical leadership role requires a seasoned staffing industry expert who can balance rigorous P&L; management with the optimization of internal systems, recruitment workflows, and team performance. The ideal candidate will bring 10 to 12 years of core staffing experience, possessing the strategic vision to scale our global and local hiring capabilities while directly managing a core team of 10-12 professionals and act opportunistically to aggressively grow the business.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

- Direct & Mentor: Actively direct, manage, and mentor a team of 10–12 professional recruiters, delivery leads, and operational staff.
- Performance Management: Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance reviews,



identify training needs, and build succession plans.
- Change Management: Act as a central pillar of leadership, guiding the team through scale-up phases and adapting to changing market dynamics in the Middle East and Asia.

Process Optimization & Systems Management

- Design & Implement Frameworks: Standardize and upgrade operational processes, recruitment workflows, and delivery systems across both the India and Dubai scopes to maximize efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Technology Utilization: Evaluate, integrate, and drive the adoption ATS platforms, AI-driven mapping tools, and data analytics systems to streamline the global search process.
- Quality Assurance: Establish rigorous KPIs, SLAs, and compliance metrics to ensure all HR outsourcing and executive search mandates meet the highest industry standards.

P&L; Ownership & Commercial Strategy

- Financial Leadership: Take full ownership of the operational P&L; across both regions, driving sustainable revenue growth and margin optimization.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with executive leadership to develop annual operating budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocation plans.
- Cost Efficiency:



Identify areas for cost reduction and operational leverage without compromising the quality of talent delivery or client experience.

Global & Local Talent Acquisition

- Cross-Border Delivery: Oversee complex, multi-geography search mandates, ensuring seamless execution of both local hiring in India/UAE and broader global talent mapping.
- Domain Expertise: Leverage deep understanding of the FMCG, Manufacturing, Media and tech sectors to guide delivery teams in executing highly specialized and passive executive searches.
- Strategic Sourcing: Continuously innovate sourcing strategies to maintain a robust pipeline of top-tier executive talent in highly competitive global markets.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: 10–12 years of proven leadership experience directly within the staffing, recruitment, or executive search industry.
- People Leadership: Demonstrated success in directly managing, scaling, and retaining a team of 10 professionals in a high-performance setting.
- Commercial Acumen: Track record of owning and scaling a P&L;, with a deep understanding of staffing unit economics and margin management.
- Process Orientated: Proven ability to build, implement, and scale recruitment processes and operational systems from the ground up.
- Hiring Pedigree: Extensive hands-on experience managing and overseeing both localized and international hiring mandates.
- Location & Travel: Based in Mumbai, with the willingness to travel to Dubai as required to maintain strong operational alignment.
