Position: GET / DET / Jr. Engineer – Production / QC

Department: Production / Quality Control

Location: Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh

Job Responsibilities

- Assist in day-to-day production and quality activities on the fabrication shop floor.
- Monitor fabrication processes such as cutting, drilling, fit-up, welding, grinding and finishing.
- Read and understand fabrication drawings, shop drawings and basic engineering specifications.
- Inspect raw materials, fabricated components and finished products as per drawings and quality standards.
- Conduct basic dimensional inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Measuring Tape, Micrometer, etc.
- Coordinate with Production, QC and other departments to resolve quality and production issues.
- Maintain inspection reports, production records and other required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety and shop-floor procedures.
- Support NCR identification, corrective actions and process improvement.
- Follow instructions from Senior Engineers / HOD and assist in achieving daily production and quality targets.

Required Skills




- Basic knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Processes.
- Knowledge of fabrication, welding and structural steel components will be an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand engineering/fabrication drawings.
- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection methods.
- Good communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to work in a shop-floor/fabrication environment.

Eligibility
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma – Mechanical Engineering, Industrial & Production, Mecatronics, Automobile
- 0–6 years of experience in Production / Quality / Fabrication preferred.
- Freshers with good technical knowledge and willingness to learn may apply.
- Candidates from PEB / structural steel / heavy fabrication / engineering manufacturing backgrounds will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
